Overview

We are pleased to announce that the 2017 Metro Manila Tourism Forum, hosted by Quezon City through the office of Mayor Herbert Bautista will be held on February 09-10, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Quezon City. This year, we are one with the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in celebrating 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. As such, our theme will be “ASEAN: Enhancing City Tourism Destinations towards Sustainable Development.”

The 2017 Metro Manila Tourism Forum is a big gathering of Metro Manila Mayors, Tourism Officers, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP), the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), Travel and Tour Operators, and many more, with discussions and interactions of various substantive topics from very knowledgeable speakers. The event hopes to optimize the city’s tourism potential through discussions of the latest and global trends, statistics and master plans. It aims to provide a comprehensive framework of the extrinsic and intrinsic changes in the city tourism as regards to planning, governance and operational processes. It also aims to promote and enhance awareness on local and global trends as well as the various plans of the private and public sectors on the tourism development of the city.
